The Single WheelTracker is a piece of lab testing equipment for the asphalt industry. Manufactured out of about 93% stainless steel, it is used to test the wearability & water damage potential of asphalt mixes.
By simulating roadway conditions in a controlled environment and using a Linear Value Displacement Transducer to measure deformation of a sample over 11 equally spaced points at 158 lbs. of pressure (adjustable).
The testing environment temperature can be set between 15°C-70°C and cannot be set less than room temperature. The machine has three testing modes, Wet, Dry, and an optional Air Heat.
The whole system is controlled by a PC & PLC system with easy-to-use, custom-designed software on a Windows-based computer.

The PMW High Energy Aspalt Mixer aggressively mixes asphalt and aggregate. Two independently driven, one-horsepower motors counterturn the paddle and bowl, providing shorter mixing times and ensuring good aggregate coating by the asphalt.
Using either an 11.5 quart mixing bowl, or an optional 16 quart mixing bowl, the mixer can make larger batches of asphalt than most others on the market.
The mixer (except motor, gearboxes and drum drive), paddle and bowl are made of 304 stainless steel to ease cleaning and provide sturdy, rugged functionality.
